The Pest Control Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling pest control services to both residential and commercial clients. This role involves identifying customer needs, explaining the benefits of pest control solutions, and closing sales. - Identify and prospect new sales opportunities for pest control services.
- Conduct in-person or virtual sales presentations to potential clients, explaining pest control solutions and services.
- Assess client properties for pest-related issues and recommend appropriate services.
- Develop customized pest control plans and provide accurate pricing estimates.
- Close sales and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, ensuring repeat business and satisfaction.
- Provide after-sales support, including answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Work with technicians and other team members to ensure timely service delivery.
- Stay updated on the latest pest control products, technologies, and industry trends.
- Attend trade shows, networking events, and community outreach programs to promote the brand and acquire leads.
- Keep detailed records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and service history in CRM software.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies regarding pest control products and services.
- Proven sales experience, ideally in pest control, home services, or a related industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform property assessments and recommend pest control solutions.
- Knowledge of pest control methods, products, and safety regulations (preferred).
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer objections.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in using CRM software and basic office tools (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- A high school diploma is required; a degree or certification in pest management is a plus.
