• Knowledge of SAP software is an advantage.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy / Finance or equivalent.
• At least 1 year experience in General / Cost Accounting preferably in construction industry.
• Knowledge in using SAP software is an advantage.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Review all petty cash reports and conduct surprise cash count to ensure that the Petty Cash Fund is properly maintained
• Review monthly cash advance report and recommend recovery or salary deduction as applicable
• Review and ensure accuracy of budget data entered in the accounting system
• Review, analyze and discuss Tender Budget with Project Manager, Cost Engineer, Planner and Procurement Representative and assists in the preparation of Project Budget Allocation (PBA)
• Update cash flow projection based on the approved PBA
• Review and recommend approval of Journal Vouchers and Accounts Payable Vouchers (APV) to Project Accounting Head
• Study project contract, notice to proceed (NTP) or terms of reference (TOR) and relevant legal brief and finalize Finance Handover Term sheet
• Resolve Operating Status Report(OPSTAT) Red Flags reported as derived from the checklist provided under OPSTAT
• Conduct variance analysis and summarize findings: Revenue, Cost, Margin
• Update Project Cash Flow, Risk and Opportunity Register and Red Flag Register Report
