The role is programming-focused, requiring web development, scripting, API integrations, and a solid understanding of technical SEO, including AEO, GEO, and MCP concepts. Collaboration with development and marketing teams is essential to drive organic growth.

Formación

• At least 1 year in a leadership or client-facing role.
• Proficiency with SEO tools: GSC, GA, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS, WordPress/Shopify, and schema markup is a plus.
• Familiarity with Core Web Vitals monitoring tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, or related field preferred.
• Certifications in structured data, AEO/GEO frameworks, or MCP platforms are a plus.

We are seeking a technically skilled Programmer – Technical SEO to develop, maintain, and optimize websites, web applications, and automated systems while ensuring strong search engine visibility. This role is primarily programming-focused, requiring experience in web development, scripting, API integrations, and technical problem-solving, alongside a solid understanding of technical SEO.

The ideal candidate can build functional, scalable solutions while optimizing websites for traditional search engines and emerging AI-driven search experiences, including AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization). Familiarity with AI integrations and Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an advantage. The role involves collaborating with development, marketing, and content teams to improve website performance, automate workflows, and drive measurable organic growth.

DAILY DELIVERABLES

• Develop, maintain, and optimize websites, web applications, internal tools, and digital solutions.
• Build and maintain frontend components, backend functionality, databases, and API integrations.
• Develop scripts and automated workflows for website monitoring, data processing, reporting, and SEO tasks.
• Debug applications, resolve technical issues, and improve website functionality, security, scalability, and performance.
• Use version control, testing, and documentation practices to maintain code quality.
• Conduct technical SEO audits and implement fixes for crawlability, indexability, rendering, metadata, redirects, canonical tags, and site architecture.
• Optimize Core Web Vitals, page speed, mobile usability, and server response times.
• Implement structured data using Schema.org and JSON-LD.
• Manage XML sitemaps, robots.txt, hreflang, internal linking, and SEO-friendly URL structures.
• Monitor website health and search performance using Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, and other SEO tools.
• Automate keyword analysis, technical audits, reporting, and SEO monitoring using scripts and APIs.
• Analyze search performance data and develop dashboards or reports to identify optimization opportunities.
• Apply SEO, AEO, and GEO principles to improve website discoverability, content structure, and visibility across search engines and AI-powered platforms.
• Explore AI APIs, LLM integrations, and MCP-based workflows to connect applications with structured content and external tools where relevant.
• Collaborate with marketing and content teams to implement technical improvements and measure their impact on organic traffic, rankings, engagement, and conversions.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Expert-level understanding of all SEO disciplines (technical, on-page, off-page) and familiarity with AEO, GEO, and MCP-driven search optimization.
• At least 1 year in a leadership or client-facing role.
• Proficiency in SEO tools: Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, plus AEO/GEO performance tracking tools if applicable.
• Strong command of Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS, CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify), and schema markup is a plus.
• Familiarity with PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, or Core Web Vitals monitoring.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO, AEO/GEO, MCP-driven data optimization, and algorithm changes.
• Experience in cross-functional search strategy leadership, guiding teams to transition from SEO-only optimization to full search ecosystem integration.
