The Program Officer for the Zamboanga del Norte Area Development Program is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and monitoring of community-based initiatives that promote environmental resilience, sustainable livelihoods, and inclusive development. This role serves as a key liaison between local stakeholders, government agencies, and partner organizations, ensuring that program activities align with strategic goals and respond to the unique needs in ZDN vulnerable communities. In times of emergency response especially within the area program or cluster or field office, the Program Officer may become part of the Response Team depending on her/his expertise and training with prior agreement with her/his supervisor. This role must be clearly defined, agreed and supported with appropriate training, coaching or exposures and a plan to cover her/his responsibilities is in-placed while on a special assignment. This is an open-ended post based in Zamboanga del Norte.
