Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager with a strong architectural background to lead building improvement initiatives, from planning through completion. The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure design intent, code compliance, and efficient space utilization.

You will review drawings, advise on code-compliant solutions, and support master planning and sustainability efforts across multiple properties in Cebu, Philippines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field from an accredited institution.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in facilities management, project coordination, or architectural practice with demonstrated project delivery success.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, construction methods, materials, and relevant building codes and regulations.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee building improvement projects, including renovations, tenant improvements, and capital infrastructure upgrades, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Conduct site assessments and space planning exercises, utilizing architectural expertise to optimize functionality and efficiency.
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents for accuracy, code compliance, and alignment with objectives.
• Serve as liaison between stakeholders, architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor construction activities, conduct site visits, and perform quality inspections to verify work meets design intent and safety standards.
• Maintain project documentation: schedules, budgets, change orders, punch lists, closeout materials.
• Assist with long-term facility master plans through building condition assessments and capital priorities.
