Job summary

HRTx Inc. is seeking a Profee Coder to review medical documentation and assign accurate professional codes. You will work closely with providers, billing teams, and administrative staff to support compliant documentation and optimized revenue.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related medical field, plus AHIMA or AAPC certification and at least 1 year of outpatient coding experience. Onsite work is required with a sign-on bonus and competitive compensation based on experience.

What Youll Do:

As a Profee Coder, youll review medical documentation and assign appropriate codes while ensuring compliance with established coding guidelines and regulations. Youll work closely with healthcare providers, billing teams, and administrative staff to support accurate documentation and optimized revenue.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing or a related Medical Allied course
• Certified Medical Coder must hold a valid AHIMA or AAPC license
• Minimum 1 year of coding experience in Outpatient (Surgery, SDS, ED, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, coding guidelines, and documentation standards
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
• Must be amenable to work onsite
