Job summary

Australia Farm Innovations (AFI) in the Philippines seeks a Production Technician to operate and set up production equipment, perform routine maintenance, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met.

The ideal candidate has basic knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems, can read SOPs and blueprints, and works well with the team to keep lines running and problems addressed promptly. Forklift NC II is a plus, and shift work may apply.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or technical course graduate; engineering-related degree acceptable.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, or automated systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings, SOPs and work instructions.
• Familiar with hand tools and power tools; basic diagnostic procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate, start up, and shut down production equipment per SOPs and instructions.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot to minimize downtime.
• Inspect materials and finished products for quality conformity.
• Follow GMP, TPM, HSE, and QMS requirements.
• Record production output and report issues to supervisors.
