Production Planning and Inventory Control Staff

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering. Preferably with 1 year experience. Possesses critical-thinking and problem solving skills. Excellent in Mathematics for analysis, design and troubleshooting. Hardworking, reliable, requires minimum supervision.

Primary Function

This position will be responsible for the efficient and effective operation of planning and inventory control functions. Ensures that materials and equipment are available when needed with quality as per standard in most economical manner.

Scope of Duties

• Monitoring stock levels in raw materials and finished products to ensure a smooth production process.
• Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct amount of items are in stock.
• Forecasting inventory requirement.
• Checking purchase request from other department.
• Create Purchase Order based on Production Plan.
• Make delivery schedule for suppliers, considering level stock and production schedule.
• Planning and prioritizing operations to ensure a smooth production process.
• Help the company increase productivity and optimize method of operations by:
• Conserve, keep, protect and maintain good condition of company resources needed to accomplish job results.
• Practice 5's.
• Continuously innovate workflow and address short term issues through applying corrective action and practice of lean management.
• Be a team player. Be cooperative.
• Maintains open communication with co employees and immediate head.
• Identify long-term issues through risk management.
• Performs other task that may be assigned by Immediate Supervisor from time to time.
