Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective execution of production schedules, overseeing raw material management, coordination with other departments and ensuring production targets and quality standards are met.
Job Description:
- Create and maintain production schedules, making adjustments as needed based on priorities or delays.
- Track and manage inventory of raw materials, packaging and finished goods.
- Coordination with the Warehouses to avoid overstocking or shortages.
- Monitor production and material costs to stay within budget.
- Collect and analyze data on production processes and team performance to ensure continuous improvement.
- Align production tasks and schedules with customer orders and demand forecasts.
- Oversee the execution of production plans, resolving any issues to minimize delays.
- Work closely with Production, Quality Control, Warehouse, Engineering and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or any related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within manufacturing, preferably in a plastic industry.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory control and material management.
- Skilled in multitasking and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities may also include:
- Forecasting and analyzing production data, inventory levels, and customer demands.
- Generating Master Production Schedules and submitting them for approval.
- Coordinating with Target Markets, Customer Service, and other departments.
- Collaborating with Supply Planning and Procurement in conducting S&OP meetings.
- Reviewing and updating production schedules and safety stocks.
- Monitoring stock movement and coordinating with Supply Planning and Procurement.
- Working closely with Manufacturing, Warehouse, Procurement, and QC/R&D.
