Job summary

DANAM PHILIPPINES INC. in Cavite is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead and optimize the manufacturing line. The role focuses on daily planning, line performance, quality assurance and team development to meet production targets.

The candidate will supervise operators, manage work instructions and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards while coordinating with logistics for shipments and customer meetings as required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, leads, organize and control the production line.
• Lead daily SIM1 meetings and discuss plan targets for the day including issues such as quality, attendance and yesterday performance.
• Oversee and correct the work of subordinates and ensure the line is functioning normally.
• Check the accuracy of all documents in line (OK 1st part, Torque Calibration Checksheet, Machine Correlation Checksheet, Work Instruction).
• Maintain adequate inventory levels of materials in handle CELL.
• Coordinate with support groups for issues encountered during operation.
• Analyze failure trends and initiate corrective actions to improve productivity and line efficiency.
• Supervise team members to achieve goals (LIPASS / VOLPASS).
• Provide technical data to support groups to prevent or resolve material/process related issues or defects (QUALITY IMPROVEMENT).
• Train operators on new processes and improvements.
• Coordinate with logistics for loading of finished goods and shipment confirmation.
• Uphold company rules and discipline within the department.
• Conduct performance appraisals and recognize achievements when needed.
• Implement, monitor and revise productivity improvement programs.
• Monitor material transitions (MRB, RTW) and manage stocks in line.
• Observe quality and safety standards in duties.
• Support health, safety and environmental programs.
• Organize manpower allocation per cell.
• Monitor hourly output based on UPH requirements.
• Check line performance output for 100% good quality.
• Monitor MRB trends daily.
• Ensure progress by leadership, discipline and development of personnel.
• Execute smooth implementation of company specifications and process control charts.
• Update shift performance reports (volpass / lipass) prior to Clerk consolidation.
• Perform KAMISHIBI audits (Layered 2) as scheduled.
• Communicate and attend customer meetings as required.
• Handle the most complex CELL among supervisors.
