Job summary

San Miguel Corporation seeks a capable Line Officer-in-Charge to support the Production Supervisor in a fast-moving facility in Laguna. You will monitor processes, enforce safety, and help optimize manpower, machines, materials, and methods (4Ms) to sustain quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities include supervising equipment operation, maintaining inventory, performing preventive maintenance, and leading corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Production Supervisor in managing the effective use of resources: manpower, machines, materials, and methods (4Ms).
• Accomplishes Corrective Action Request (CAR) forms; monitor the implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Monitors machine standard parameters and process parameters using Production Monitoring Sheets; identify deviations and initiate corrective measures.
• Operates machines and conducts processing of products in accordance to In-Process Specifications.
• Conduct, review, and monitor Pre-Operative and Post-Operative activities to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and operational readiness.
• Verify and monitor raw materials and ensures compliance with FIFO/ FEFO inventory practices.
• Assembles, dismantles, performs preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting on production equipment and machines.
• Monitors and manages inventory levels of production supplies, tools, and consumables. Initiates purchase requisition of supplies and consumables.
• Conducts regular checks on the condition of production tools and implements to identify wear, damage, or need for repair or replacement.
• Applies problem-solving tools to resolve production issues and non-conformities.
• Proposes and implements process and productivity improvements with measurable business impact.
• Initiates cost-saving projects related to production efficiency and line optimization.
• Carry outs tasks assigned by the immediate superior based on skill level and operational needs.
• Serves as Line Officer-in-Charge (OIC) in the absence of Line Supervisor.
