Job summary

Zenith Foods Corporation, Inc. in Canlubang, Laguna, is seeking a Production Assistant Manager to plan, organize, lead, and control production operations to meet volume, quality, timeliness, and GMP standards.

You will drive schedules based on forecasts, supervise staff, support training programs, and collaborate with other units to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient production toward continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics) or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of work experience in a food manufacturing plant, preferably in similar production lines.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Must have basic knowledge or experience in food processing technology.
• Experience in handling production seminars, training, and similar orientation programs.
• Willing to work in Canlubang, Laguna.

Responsibilities

• Plans and schedules production operations based on volume forecasts and actual requirements.
• Directs and controls the activities in the area to ensure smooth production flow.
• Ensures the assigned area contributes to quality and safety standards for finished products and the workplace.
• Initiates process improvements, equipment upgrades, and other opportunities for innovation.
• Verifies accurate and timely production reports and other reports as required by management.
• Collaborates with other operating units on behalf of the section.

Job description

The Production Assistant Manager is responsiblefor effectively and efficiently planning, organizing, leading, and controlling production operations in his or her assigned production area to meet product volume, quality, timeliness, good manufacturing practices, sanitation, and hygiene.

• Plans and schedules production operations based on volume forecasts and actual requirements.

• Directs and controls the activities in his area to assure the smooth flow of production operations.

• Ensures that the assigned area contributes to the consistent attainment of quality and safety standards for finishedproducts and in the workplace.

• Initiates process improvements, equipment upgrades, and other opportunities for innovation.

• Verifies accurate and timely production reports and other reports that may be so required by management

• Collaborates with other operating units on behalf of the section.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• A graduate of Bachelor's Degreein Engineering preferably Electrical/Electronics Engineering.

• With at least one (1) year of work experience in a food manufacturing plant, preferably involved in similar production lines

• With at leasttwo (2) years of supervisory experience.

• Must have basic knowledge or experience in food processing technology

• Must have experience in handling production seminars, training, and similar orientation programs.

• Must be willing to work inCanlubang, Laguna.
