Job summary

Shopee is seeking an Operations Strategy Analyst to diagnose problems, structure approaches, build models, and drive cross-functional alignment with minimal guidance. You will contribute to planning, execution, and performance reviews, shaping data-driven decisions across regions.

You will work with product, operations, and business teams to ensure timely launches and clear, decision-ready reports for leadership, in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Industrial/Management Engineering or related fields.
• Drives problem-solving with a sense of accountability and execution.
• Proficient in Excel/Google sheets is a must.
• Comfortable working with large datasets and fast-paced environments.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
• 1–2 years of experience in operations strategy, logistics, e-commerce, analytics, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own workstream execution from planning through to launch.
• Diagnose and structure problems end-to-end: Independently scope the landscape, identify supply-demand gaps, and surface constraints before any plan is drawn.
• Bring product and configuration knowledge: Understand product configurations, capabilities, and constraints well enough to inform planning decisions and coordinate effectively with business and technical teams.
• Drive PMO and cross-functional coordination: Run weekly status tracking, manage risks and blockers, and ensure alignment across local and regional stakeholders through to go-live and performance review.
• Prepare structured outputs for senior stakeholders: Produce clear, decision-ready reports, proposals, and leadership decks that communicate progress, risks, and recommendations concisely.

The Strategy team at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates.
