Job summary

Freelancer.com is seeking a Product Quality Analyst to conduct QA on our web and mobile applications, ensuring cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility. You will create test plans, execute test cases, report defects, and help maintain product documentation to align expectations across teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/SE and at least 3 years of QA or software testing experience, with familiarity in SDLC and Agile/Scrum practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Product Quality Analyst, QA Analyst or Software Tester in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong experience in manual testing for web and mobile applications.
• Knowledge of testing methodologies including Regression Testing, Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Functional Testing, and UI/UX Testing.
• Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Hands-on experience in creating test plans, test cases, test scenarios and bug reports.
• Experience using bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Test web applications and mobile applications across browsers and platforms.
• Prepare test plans, peer-review, and execute on test cases to ensure product quality.
• Create detailed bug and test reports.
• Own and maintain product documentation to align on product expectations org-wide.
• Participate in the team’s SDLC and provide insights on product quality and user experience.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts.
