Job description

About The Team

We are a team of engineers, scientists, and domain experts dedicated to making housing and building development more sustainable and equitable. At Anori, we believe that to meet the global housing demand, we must build differently than we have before.

About The Team

We are developing novel AI solutions to address complex challenges in these industries, driving a transformation in building performance, efficiency, and sustainability. This is a rare opportunity to shape an early-stage company in an extremely meaningful way.

Role Overview

We are looking for a product manager who can bring together user research, strategic analysis, and product management chops to provide context, clarity, prioritization and specifications to our product development team. You’ll work closely with the executive team, software engineers, domain experts, and research scientists to shape our roadmap and drive value for our customers.

You are a strategic thinker with deep user empathy, outstanding customer communication, and strong technical chops. You have deep expertise in the building development world that allows you to bring an informed perspective to product strategy.

How You Will Make an Impact
  • Define Product Strategy: Develop and maintain the product roadmap for one or more of our workstreams, aligning technical milestones with overarching company strategy.
  • Customer Discovery & Validation: Engage deeply with stakeholders and industry experts to gather feedback, validate prototypes, and ensure high value and usability.
  • Product-Market Validation: Establish and run market validation with cities, developers, and financial institutions to evidence segment demand, buying signals, and willingness to pay. Use that evidence to sequence the roadmap against commercial priority.
  • Bridge Domain and Technology: Translate complex user, regulatory, and functional constraints into actionable PRDs and engineering priorities. Own the source of truth for what is built, what is in development, and what can be credibly deployed today.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with domain experts and tech leads to carry customer feedback through to product requirements and engineering implementation.
  • Packaging & Value Assessment: Specify what each customer segment receives — modules, features, tiers — and partner with GTM on the value narrative and pricing structure.
  • Measure and Iterate: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor feature performance, efficiency gains, operational impact, and commercial impact.
What You Should Have
  • Domain Expertise: 2+ years of experience in the real estate development industry, AEC, construction management, or related sectors
  • Product Management Experience: 3+ years of product management experience in the technology sector, successfully taking complex software products end-to-end from ideation to launch.
  • Commercial Fluency: Experience in customer facing activity: pricing, packaging, or business model development, including validation on value models, proposal development and frontline partnerships.
  • Technical Chops: Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts, such as data schemas, infrastructure requirements, and AI model inputs/outputs.
  • User Empathy: Demonstrated ability to synthesize customer and stakeholder feedback into simple, intuitive, and valuable product workflows.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between highly technical teams (AI/software engineering), design, and business/domain teams.
  • Early-Stage Experience: Experience working in a fast-paced startup or an early-stage company with rapidly changing requirements and high autonomy.
It’d Be Great If You Also Had
  • Zoning and building code fluency: Hands-on experience interpreting zoning ordinances, building codes, or entitlement requirements.
  • BIM and design tooling: Working knowledge of Revit, Rhino, or similar tools, including how model data is structured and where it breaks down between design and construction.
  • Development lifecycle exposure: You’ve worked alongside developers, architects, or GCs on projects that went from site acquisition through delivery, and you understand where the real friction lives.

Base salary range is tiered based on location: $200,000 – $350,000 annually, depending on experience, skills, and location. Base salary is one part of total compensation.

Benefits

A competitive salary. Equity. Choice of medical, dental, and vision plans so you can pick what actually fits your life. 401(k) with a 4% match. Unlimited PTO with 2 company closure weeks: one in the summer, and one around the December holidays. 12 weeks fully paid parental leave whatever your path to parenthood looks like. And the smaller things that add up: home office setup, a cell phone stipend, and twice-a-year team offsites to reconnect in person.
