JOB SUMMARY
The Product Growth Strategist is responsible for driving profitable growth of the assigned product by analyzing financial performance, gathering customer feedback, recommending strategic actions, and facilitating communication between cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Manage the P&L for assigned product(s):
- Track and analyze revenue and other relevant financial metrics.
- Identify key drivers of profitability and areas for improvement.
- Develop and present regular reports and insights to stakeholders.
- Forecast future profitability based on market trends and internal projections.
2. Recommend and implement strategies to improve profitability:
- Analyze pricing strategies, cost structures, and promotional activities.
- Identify opportunities for product optimization, and feature additions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement chosen strategies.
- Track the impact of implemented strategies on profitability and adjust as needed.
3. Stay informed on industry trends and best practices:
- Research and analyze market trends impacting product profitability.
- Identify and evaluate new tools and technologies relevant to product cost and pricing optimization.
- Actively participate in industry events and conferences to stay current on best practices.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of total experience in product management, business and product strategy, and similar.
- At least with 3 years experience in Revenue Optimization, Commercial Strategy, Financial Product.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Skills in project management tools
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
