Job summary

Emapta Global is seeking a Product Engineer to fortify rehabilitation product development, lifecycle performance, and manufacturing collaboration for a global leader in rehabilitation, recovery, and sports performance. This role offers a hybrid setup in Ortigas, with strong exposure to cross-functional teams and international partners.

You will lead engineering and NPI projects, manage changes and documentation, and coordinate with manufacturers to ensure supply continuity and regulatory-aligned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field.
• 5+ years in engineering, product development, manufacturing, or specifications.
• 3+ years leading engineering, product development, or cross-functional projects.
• Experience with product design, engineering changes, change control, or sustaining engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication with cross-functional collaboration.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support product engineering and new product introduction projects from development through manufacturing.
• Manage engineering changes, product specifications, drawings, bills of materials, and design controls.
• Work closely with external and contract manufacturers to support product development, manufacturing readiness, changes, and supply continuity.
• Review product designs and implementations to ensure alignment with specifications and standards.
• Coordinate product testing, validation, and qualification activities.
• Investigate and resolve product, manufacturing, and supply issues via root cause analysis.
• Support cost reduction, product improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with sourcing and supply chain activities related to product lifecycle management, inventory transitions, and launches.
• Support packaging, labeling, artwork, and product identification changes when required.
• Prepare technical reports and project documentation to support decisions.
• Monitor timelines, risks, and performance metrics for successful launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related technical or science field
• 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering, product development, product design, manufacturing, or specification development
• Experience with product development, new product introduction, or product lifecycle management
• 3+ years of experience leading engineering, product development, new product introduction, or cross-functional projects
• Ability to read, interpret, and generate product drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other technical documentation
• Experience with product design, engineering changes, change control, or sustaining engineering
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, assess risks, and develop practical solutions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, manufacturers, and customers
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Nice to Have

• Experience working with medical devices or other regulated products
• Knowledge of medical device regulations, quality management standards, regulatory databases, unique device identification requirements, or similar regulatory and product identification requirements
• Experience working with contract manufacturers, suppliers, or external manufacturing partners
• Experience with enterprise resource planning or product lifecycle management systems
• Experience in product sourcing, supply chain, cost reduction, packaging, labeling, or inventory management
• Familiarity with failure mode and effects analysis, product testing, validation, qualification, or regulatory compliance

• Monitor project timelines, risks, deliverables, and performance metrics to support successful product launches and ongoing product performance
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues and achieve project and business objectives
