Sun Life Philippines is seeking a procurement expert to manage end-to-end sourcing of goods and services, negotiate contracts, and drive cost efficiencies. The role collaborates with internal partners and external vendors to ensure timely delivery and compliance, while leveraging market insights to optimize spend.
The ideal candidate has at least five years in procurement, strong negotiation and SRM skills, and a background in construction and facilities procurement is a plus.

The role is preferably with experience in handling professional services, consultancy services and other related services. Such services are considered non-PO. The candidate should have a strong background in negotiation, analysis and especially contracting. The candidate should be able to understand and negotiate contract terms. The role is responsible for the end-to-end acquisition of goods and services to support operational needs of Sunlife Financial Philippines. The role is expected to be highly skilled in sourcing, negotiations and contract management. The role should also be strategic in nature - collaborating with both internal and external partners in order to achieve cost efficiencies thru better demand management and supplier relationship management. The role should also have a better understanding of industry trends, drivers and regulations impacting business activities and should be well versed in different strategies that could be employed to deliver competitive advantage.
