About the role
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our dynamic team at Ayala Property Management Corporation (APMC) in Makati City, Metro Manila. As Procurement Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing our procurement processes, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, goods and services to support our operations. This is a full-time role based in our Makati office.
What you'll be doing
Developing and implementing effective procurement strategies to meet business objectives
Negotiating favorable contracts and agreements with suppliers to achieve the best value for money
Managing the procurement lifecycle, including sourcing, vendor selection, contract management and performance monitoring
Optimizing inventory levels and ensuring the timely delivery of materials and supplies
Liaising with cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and deliver procurement solutions
Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing innovative procurement practices
Ensuring compliance with procurement policies, procedures and relevant regulations
Providing procurement analytics and reporting to support informed decision-making
What we're looking for
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a procurement or supply chain management role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industries
Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to secure favorable terms and conditions
Proficient in supply chain management, inventory control, and demand forecasting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills to identify and implement process improvements
Familiarity with procurement best practices, regulations and compliance requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field
