Job summary

LG Electronics in the Philippines is seeking a General Procurement Officer for full-time on-site work in Metro Manila. The role oversees procurement activities, sourcing qualified suppliers, negotiating terms, and maintaining contracts to ensure timely, cost-effective purchases.

You will coordinate with internal teams to optimize inventory and supplier performance. The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years in procurement or supply chain, plus strong negotiation and documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management, Economics, or any related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain operations.
• Experience in vendor management, supplier negotiations, and procurement processes is an advantage.
• Knowledge of procurement practices, sourcing strategies, inventory management, vendor accreditation and contract administration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ERP/procurement systems.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and transactions.
• Knowledge of procurement policies, compliance requirements, and ethical sourcing practices.
• Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Procurement & Sourcing: Process purchase requests and procure goods and services in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Vendor Management & Coordination: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and service providers.
• Purchase Order & Documentation Management: Prepare and maintain purchase orders, quotations, contracts, and procurement records.
• Inventory, Cost Control & Process Improvement: Monitor purchasing costs and identify cost-saving opportunities and support continuous improvement.
