Job summary

Avid Sales Corporation is seeking an Inventory Clerk to manage stock levels, perform physical counts, and maintain accurate records in our General Santos warehouse. You will work with the inventory team to ensure procedures are followed, discrepancies are reported promptly, and inventory software is updated daily.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Studies or equivalent.

• Undergraduate with inventory experience in a Retail Sales are welcome to apply.
• With good interpersonal skills and with pleasing personality.
• Proven work experience as an Inventory Clerk or similar role.
• Good understanding of stock management procedures.
• Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Competencies in data entry, analysis, and management.

Responsibilities

• Perform inventory procedures according to the standards.
• Conducts inventory engagement as indicated on the plan.
• Performs inventory functions.
• Reports and communicates with the manager status of inventory engagement and any issues he/she would come across that needs specific immediate attention.
• Monitor and maintain current inventory levels, ensuring quantities are accurate through regular physical counts
• Record keeping of all inventory transactions and updates
• Process inventory changes in database or inventory software
• Prepare documentation for inventory audits
• Assist in the receiving and dispatching of warehouse stock
• Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping
• Coordinate the handling of freight, the movement of equipment, and necessary minor repairs
• Ensure that the warehouse is clean, organized, and safe for all staff
• Perform data entry and administrative duties
