Role Overview
We are seeking an analytically sharp, process-driven Procurement Engineer to manage end-to-end technical sourcing, vendor negotiations, and purchase execution. This role bridges site operations with commercial suppliers, ensuring materials and equipment meet exact technical specifications, arrive on time, and deliver optimal cost efficiency. Fresh graduates with exceptional academic performance or leadership records are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Sourcing & Requisition Audit: Review engineering requests, blueprints, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and technical datasheets to ensure specification accuracy before sourcing.
Commercial Bidding & Negotiation: Execute competitive bidding (minimum 3-quote validation), compare vendor proposals on a total-cost-of-ownership basis, and negotiate payment/delivery terms.
Vendor & Supply Base Management: Identify, vet, and accredit reliable fabricators, distributors, and direct manufacturers to reduce supply risks.
Operational Follow-Through: Track Purchase Orders (POs) through dispatch, delivery, and receipt; resolve supplier non-conformances, delays, and site discrepancy claims.
Process & Data Optimization: Maintain procurement databases, analyze spend patterns, and implement tracking systems to eliminate material bottlenecks.
