Job summary

Stockcare Cargo and Warehousing Inc. is seeking a Purchasing Associate to join our procurement team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. This full-time role supports our warehouse and logistics operations by ensuring timely, cost-effective purchasing of goods and services.

You will collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to optimize inventory and supplier performance. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in purchasing or procurement, strong negotiation skills, and familiarity with ERP systems

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of purchasing or procurement experience in manufacturing, logistics, or warehousing.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain fundamentals.
• Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills.
• Attention to detail and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and identifying potential suppliers meeting quality and cost requirements.
• Preparing, issuing, and managing purchase orders and requisitions.
• Negotiating pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers.
• Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with warehouse staff.
• Maintaining records of purchase orders, invoices and delivery docs.
• Tracking and expediting orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Conducting quality inspections of received goods and addressing discrepancies.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand procurement timelines.
• Maintaining supplier databases and updating vendor performance metrics.
• Supporting cost reduction initiatives and process improvements in procurement.
