Overview of the Role

The Procurement Assistant supports the procurement team in sourcing, purchasing, and managing goods and services for the organization. This role ensures the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials while maintaining strong vendor relationships and accurate records.

Main duties include:

  • Assist in sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotations.

  • Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions.

  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery.

  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.

  • Communicate with suppliers to resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing.

  • Support contract negotiations and vendor evaluations.

  • Coordinate with internal departments to determine procurement needs.

  • Monitor inventory levels and report shortages.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations.

  • Conducts supplier evaluation and assessment monthly and annually

  • Conduct PEZA asset monitoring and PEZA asset requirements submission.

  • Conducts review of non–IT assets and contracts tool repository

  • Report to the office daily to perform assigned responsibilities and collaborate with the team.

Requirements

  • A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.

  • At least 1 year of experience in a procurement or administrative role

  • PEZA processing on asset management is an advantage.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
