Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. in Laguna, Philippines, seeks a Junior Engineer – Photolithography to support development, control and optimization of photolithography in PLP/WLCSP.

You will help ensure stable patterning, reduce defects and improve yield through data-driven improvements. The role involves end-to-end process support, parameter monitoring, RCA support, and collaboration with Equipment Engineering for maintenance and calibration.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma in Electronics/Engineering or related field.
• Exposure to WLCSP or semiconductor processes is a plus.
• Experience with photolithography processes and cleanroom environments preferred.
• Familiarity with photoresists and lithography defect mechanisms is a plus.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; detail-oriented and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end photolithography processes including coat, expose, develop.
• Monitor critical parameters like CD, overlay, and defects; drive improvements.
• Perform data analysis and trend monitoring for yield and stability.
• Support RCA and corrective actions; coordinate with Equipment Engineering for maintenance.
• Assist in NPI activities: recipe setup, validation and process qualification.
• Prepare work instructions, process specs, and engineering change documents.
