Job summary

BAKEMASTERS INC. in Taguig is seeking an Industrial Engineer to analyze and improve production processes, optimize workflows, and drive efficiency across manufacturing operations.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in IE or process improvement, a degree in IE, and are willing to be assigned to Bagumbayan, Taguig. Lean Six Sigma experience is a plus; the company offers benefits and opportunities for promotion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering field.
• 1–3 years of experience in industrial engineering, process improvement, production planning, manufacturing operations, or continuous improvement programs, preferably in food manufacturing, commissary, FMCG, or supply chain environments.
• Licenses/Certifications: None required.
• Preferred Certifications: Lean Six Sigma, Process Improvement, Project Management, or other Operational Excellence certifications are an advantage but not required.
• Willing to be assigned in Bagumbayan, Taguig City

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve production processes, workflows, and operational systems to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct process studies and identify opportunities to reduce waste, downtime, and operational costs.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing and business operations.
• Monitor production performance, labor utilization, productivity, and operational efficiency to ensure target achievement.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to support decision-making and process improvement projects.
• Prepare and present reports, analyses, and recommendations related to operational performance and improvement initiatives.
• Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance, Warehouse, Maintenance, and other departments to support operational requirements and projects.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend corrective and preventive actions while ensuring compliance with quality, food safety, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Support the implementation of new systems, employee training programs, and other duties assigned by Management to achieve organizational objectives.
