EY GDS in the Philippines is seeking a seasoned Internal Audit leader to drive risk-based engagements and develop SOP manuals for a growing consulting risk service line. You will manage audits, coach teams, and collaborate closely with client onshore teams to deliver robust governance programs.
The ideal candidate has 7+ years in Internal Audit, strong cross-functional process knowledge, and excellent English communication, with a track record of mentoring staff within a consulting environment.
As part of the Consulting - Internal Audit team, you will lead client engagements related to risk-based Internal Audits, process and compliance reviews and development of Standard Operating Procedure Manuals. You will be part of the leadership group of the EY-Consulting Risk Team, instrumental in the growth of a new service offering.
Understand the client's business and related industry issues and trends
Develop strong working relationships with the client and onshore client teams
Maintain excellent rapport and proactive communication with the client
Review execution of internal audit engagements while working with client and onsite client teams
Support client and onsite client teams in developing scope for internal audit, process and compliance reviews
Identify process gaps and provide recommendations in areas requiring improvement based on the client's business process and industry practice
Conduct follow up audits to monitor management's interventions and actions
Communicate to appropriate audience the audit scope, protocol, status, issues, risks and recommendations via written reports and presentations
Manage multiple assignments and related project teams
Mentor and coach Staff and Senior members, enabling them to meet their performance goals and successfully grow their careers
CA or MBA (Master's in business administration)
At least 7 years of Internal Audit experience with a consulting firm or in an Internal Audit department of an organization
Technical experience in Finance, Operations or Regulatory Compliance
Knowledge of cross-functional business processes (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, etc.)
Exceptional command on spoken and written English
Highly analytical, organised and meticulous consulting skills
Strong skills in negotiating, relationship building, problem solving, and timely problem escalation
Team player with strong interpersonal skills
Proficient in MS-Office Suite, data analysis and validation
Strong project management skills
