Emapta is seeking a Process Automation Engineer to design and build workflow automations and integrations across global environments using n8n, Make, Zapier, and related tools. You will transform documented processes into production-ready solutions, incorporating AI components per design standards.

Qualifications

Educational Background

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience building workflow automations or integrations, with demonstrable production work using n8n, Make, Zapier, Power Automate, or similar platforms
• Experience integrating APIs and managing data transformation, error handling, and authentication within automated workflows
• Exposure to AI‑assisted automation, including LLM API calls and document processing, is a strong advantage

Required Skills

• Strong hands‑on skills in n8n or an equivalent platform, including complex branching, error handling, and sub‑workflows
• Working proficiency in JavaScript or Python for custom workflow steps and data manipulation
• Practical knowledge of workflow automation, API integration, data transformation, and version control
• Disciplined engineering practices in documentation, testing, and version control
• Clear communication and effective collaboration with analysts, technical teams, and non‑technical process owners

Preferred

• Experience using LLM APIs and prompt‑driven workflow steps
• Familiarity with databases, webhooks, and common SaaS ecosystems, including CRM, ITSM, and HRIS platforms
• Relevant automation platform certifications

Responsibilities

Automation Design and Development

• Design and build workflow automations and integrations using the tower's technology stack, including n8n and adjacent platforms, transforming documented process requirements into functional, tested solutions.
• Incorporate AI components, including LLM steps, document intelligence, and agentic patterns, in accordance with the AI Tech Lead's designs and standards.
• Apply the tower's engineering standards for version control, testing, error handling, logging, documentation, and secure credential management.

Deployment and Support

• Deploy automations across client and internal environments and support stabilization, monitoring, and defect resolution.
• Maintain runbooks and operational documentation to ensure automations can be supported beyond the original developer.

Requirements and Collaboration

• Collaborate with process specialists and client subject matter experts to confirm requirements, edge cases, and exception‑handling scenarios before development.
• Provide effort estimates and technical input during solution development when required.

Capability Development

• Complete the tower's defined skills development program, progressing from workflow automation to programming, AI engineering patterns, and additional platforms according to the agreed development plan.
• Contribute reusable components and standardized patterns to the tower's asset library.

Discovery and Solutioning Support

• Develop feasibility spikes and proof‑of‑concept automations during discovery and pursuit phases.
• Prepare effort estimates for proposed automation scopes.

Other Responsibilities

• Perform other duties assigned by authorized company representatives through written or verbal instructions.
