Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking a PRM Project Coordinator to facilitate commercial and contract management of operating power plants during the Defects Notification Period (DNP), from Taking-Over Certificate issuance to Final Payment release.

You will work closely with the PRM Manager, ARI PDE Team, O&M Team, Project Managers, AP Legal, Contractors, and Service Providers to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, Law, or a related field.
• 2 years of relevant experience as a Contract/Commercial Engineer.
• 1 year of relevant experience as a Project Coordinator or Project Manager.
• Knowledge and application of Contracts Management on Complex Projects or Utility Scale Generation Plant Construction.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the protection of project contractual interests while maintaining a sustainable commercial relationship with the EPC Contractor.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, O&M Leaders, Cost Engineers, and Contracts Compliance Engineers to prepare Contractual Letters, handle change requests/claims, endorse site procurements, and secure FINLOA approvals.
• Implement established commercial structures for DNP projects by guiding the O&M Team in executing contract provisions, escalating critical risks/issues, and closing contracts.
• Facilitate risk management, issue management, and contract lessons learned during DNP for continuous process improvement and endorsement to PCG and PPCM teams.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

What You Will Need:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, Law, or a related field.
• 2 years of relevant experience as a Contract/Commercial Engineer.
• 1 year of relevant experience as a Project Coordinator or Project Manager.
• Knowledge and application of Contracts Management on Complex Projects or Utility Scale Generation Plant Construction.

Technical / Functional Skills:

• Proficiency in FIDIC Contracts (Silver, Red, and Yellow Books).
• Strong skills in project management, contract & agreement administration, project integration, risk management, cost control, and project communication.
• Ability to implement commercial structures, manage DNP documentation integrity, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
