Job summary

First Focus AU is seeking a skilled private cloud engineer to manage and configure cloud environments while supporting the US team. You'll own the infrastructure lifecycle built on Nutanix AHV, troubleshoot issues, and ensure efficient operations across multiple cloud platforms.

Ideal candidates should have 3-5 years of relevant experience, particularly with Nutanix AHV and Juniper Networks. The role involves night shifts aligned with US hours, offering a salary of P150,000 - P190,000/month along with several employee benefits.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years in private cloud infrastructure, with exposure to multi-client or complex environments.
• Hands-on experience with Nutanix AHV or comparable hyperconverged infrastructure.
• Enterprise networking skills, specifically Juniper Networks (Junos OS).
• Experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS in a hybrid-cloud context.
• Scripting ability in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Clear, confident English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as second-level escalation point for cloud and infrastructure issues from the US service desk.
• Own the full lifecycle of private cloud environments built on Nutanix AHV.
• Manage and maintain Juniper Networks infrastructure.
• Support Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud workloads.
• Drive improvements across monitoring, automation, and documentation.
• Participate in shift handovers with the Australian team.
• Work a night shift aligned to US business hours.
