Job summary

Hlfppt is seeking a Prison / OCS Coordinator to oversee activities across 10 prisons and to provide handholding support to PPVs. The role involves building PPV capacities, coordinating camp activities with health staff in prison and community, and ensuring treatment linkages for reactive inmates under supervision of State Project Managers.

Responsibilities

• The Prison / OCS Coordinator will take care of 10 prison and will be providing handhold support to PPVs.
• PC will be primarily responsible for building the capacities of PPVs, facilitating camp activities through coordination with health staff, both in prison and community and ensuring treatment linkages of reactive inmates in coordination with prison authorities and health functionaries.
• Additionally, they will be responsible for reporting mechanisms for their assigned institutions, under the supervision of State Project Managers and Monitoring Officers, placed at the state or regional level.
• Implement HIV/AIDS programs in prisons and OCS at the Cluster / District level.
• Develop strategies to address HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment in prisons and OCS.
• Collaborate with prison staff to ensure the well-being of inmates.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of interventions in prison settings.
• Ensure adherence to healthcare protocols within correctional facilities.
• Coordinate training and capacity-building programs for prison staff.
• Other task which may assigned by the reporting manager.
