This role bridges executive technology vision and hands-on engineering leadership by driving architectural direction, guiding strategic technology investments, and contributing directly to the delivery of critical platforms and systems.

This role bridges executive technology vision and hands-on engineering leadership by driving architectural direction, guiding strategic technology investments, and contributing directly to the delivery of critical platforms and systems. The position provides enterprise-wide leadership across architecture, software engineering, and emerging technologies. Working closely with executives, architects, and engineering teams, the role develops scalable technology roadmaps, drives AI adoption strategies, establishes architectural standards, and mentors technical talent. Success in this role requires balancing strategic planning with active participation in coding, solution delivery, innovation initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Define and maintain enterprise architecture blueprints to support scalability, resilience, maintainability, and long-term technology objectives.
- Establish architecture standards, engineering principles, and governance frameworks to guide enterprise solution delivery.
- Evaluate technical debt, architecture risks, and technology investments to support informed business and technology decisions.
- Lead build-versus-buy assessments to ensure alignment with strategic and operational objectives.
- Develop production-quality software components to support critical enterprise applications and platform capabilities.
- Design and implement large-scale backend systems, enterprise integrations, and event-driven architectures that support business growth and operational reliability.

- Advanced degrees in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Enterprise Architecture, or a related field.
- Industry-recognized architecture, cloud, or enterprise technology certifications are considered an asset.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in information technology, including significant experience in software engineering, solution architecture, and enterprise systems design.
- Demonstrated experience serving as a Principal Architect, Enterprise Architect, Lead Architect, or equivalent senior technology leadership role.
- Extensive hands-on software development experience utilizing object-oriented programming principles and enterprise design patterns.
- Proven experience designing and building enterprise-scale systems, backend services, integration platforms, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience leading enterprise architecture programs, technical governance initiatives, and strategic technology transformations.
- Strong understanding of AI technologies, generative AI concepts, governance frameworks, and enterprise AI adoption strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor technical teams and influence enterprise-wide engineering practices.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, business communication, and executive presentation skills.
- Experience evaluating and implementing secure, scalable, and highly available technology solutions.
