As a Senior Solutions Engineer, your primary responsibility is to ensure our customers' technical health and success across all products. The Solutions Engineering team will be divided into three specialized areas: Platform, Data Protection, and Security. Each area will have dedicated Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support the team.

What You'll Do

Primary Technical Contact and Quarterback

  • Build a relationship with strategic accounts and leverage that relationship to ensure partner engagement.
  • Improve the partner journey by reducing friction at all parts of the journey.
  • Serve as a primary POC for partners to help them find information and solutions that make them a successful MSP.
  • Act as a quarterback for technical escalations for our partners, involving stakeholders and use relationship and knowledge to de-escalate issues. Take ownership of the communication and follow through until completion.

Customer Technical Health

  • Focus on maintaining and improving the technical health of customer accounts.
  • Continually build your knowledge of product functionality, best practices, integrations, supported technologies, competition, and industry trends.
  • Use this knowledge to confirm with the partner and internal stakeholders that their use of N-able products is healthy and suggest improvements wherever possible.
  • Prevent hard churn and soft churn by enabling partners to effectively deploy and sell their customers on N-able product offerings.

Product Utilization

  • Oversee the effective use and deployment of our products, ensuring optimal setup and functionality.
  • Work with partners during purchasing, deployment, and through the product lifecycle to ensure licenses are consumed and leveraged with MSP customers.
  • Advise the customer on their technical operations, efficiency, and automation.
  • Make suggestions to N-able partners using your expertise, best practices, and insights from other MSPs to help the partner achieve their larger goals.

Technical Engagement

  • Drive customer engagement from a technical perspective, providing expertise and support that helps the partner grow.
  • Your role will involve working closely with SMEs to address specific technical challenges and opportunities, ultimately enhancing the overall customer experience and satisfaction.
  • Maintain credibility as the technical expert across many areas such as Microsoft, Network administration, Security practices, and more so that when speaking with partners you help shape productive conversations.
  • Promote N-able offerings such as Head Nerd Office hours and webinars, roadshows, Business Transformation, and Empower to boost engagement.
  • Create documentation, videos, and other collateral to assist partners with deriving value from our products.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience as a post-sales Solutions Engineer, preferably within the cybersecurity domain or related technology fields.
  • Proven ability to work across a broad range of technologies with responsibilities including technical presentations, proof of concept (PoC) development, solution design, hands-on implementation, and ongoing support.
