Job summary

WSP in Manila is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering professional to lead building electrical systems design and coordination.

You will guide projects from design through construction, collaborate with clients and consultants, and ensure standards are met. The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, 10+ years of relevant experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10+ years of relevant engineering design experience in electrical systems.
• Prior experience in engineering consulting work or project management is advantageous.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in high-value Electrical or advanced engineering projects in areas such as innovative technical solutions, solutions design and development, project management, advanced engineering system operations, and Electrical systems and infrastructures.
• Lead electrical system coordination & integration for building projects from design, tender preparation to project administration.
• Lead Electrical team and take up assignments in site inspection, coordination and attend meetings for building development, fast-track and/or mission critical projects.
• Lead Electrical team and ensure Electrical engineering and deliverables meet industry standards.
• Liaise with clients, clients' consultants, contractors and authorities from concept to detailed design and construction administration till project completion.

Requirements

• Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
• Excellent communication skills with consultants, main contractors, and sub-contractors.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
