Bebu Child Care Solutions Inc. is seeking a dedicated Teacher to develop authentic play-based early childhood education programs for children 0–4 years.
The role focuses on creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment while promoting social, emotional, cognitive, language, and motor development. You will observe children, document progress, and write reports for parents, while coordinating with the Center Director on administrative and family engagement tasks.
The Teacher develops authentic play-based early childhood education programs using developmentally appropriate practices and creates an environment that is fun, challenging, safe, and nurturing for young children, toddlers, and infants. The Teacher ensures that all children under his/her care have the opportunity to develop in all domains (social, emotional, cognitive, language, and gross and fine motor) to help them become prepared for life. The Teacher leads the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of early childhood programs. S/he works closely with the Center Director for administrative, business, and family engagement task, among others.
Develops child-led, play-based early childhood education and care programs that are developmentally appropriate for children 0-4 years old
Designs, plans, and organizes the environment (playroom, classroom, outdoor space) in such a way that promotes curiosity, exploration, problem-solving, critical thinking, and independence
Ensures a supportive environment in which children can safely play, explore, and practice appropriate individual and group behaviors
Observes and documents children's activities, behaviors, learning styles, and preferences
Identifies and analyzes child's developmental stage, competencies, and where the child may need support
Writes narrative reports of each child's development as parents' reference
Provides responsive and nurturing care to children attending the on-demand daycare program
Supervises children at all times and ensures their health, safety, wellbeing, and comfort while in the center's care
Assists children with age-appropriate caregiving routines including feeding, bottle preparation, diaper changing, toilet learning, handwashing, dressing, rest and sleep routines, and personal hygiene as needed
Maintains open and cooperative communication with parents, families, and the community and encourages the community's involvement in the program
Has a genuine love and patience for children
Has agility and stamina in building positive relationships with both children and adults in a highly dynamic environment
At least 2 years of experience in a play-based preschool or daycare setting is an advantage
Candidate must possess Bachelor's Degree in Family Life and Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Education, Communication, or equivalent
Can write and speak fluently in Filipino and English
