Job summary

Centennial Food Corporation seeks a skilled Welder to join our production team in the Philippines. You will read blueprints, prepare surfaces, and perform MIG, TIG or Arc welding to join or repair metal components, ensuring strong welds and compliance with safety standards.

You will work in a production environment with exposure to heat and sparks, standing for long periods and handling heavy materials while maintaining quality and safety at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing or fabrication setting.
• Proficient in welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Knowledge of metal properties, welding safety standards, and procedures.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to handle welding tasks safely.
• Attention to detail and quality-conscious mindset.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
• Select appropriate welding methods, equipment, and materials (MIG, TIG, Arc, etc.).
• Prepare and clean metal surfaces before welding.
• Perform welding operations to join or repair metal parts.
• Inspect welds for quality, strength, and accuracy; perform touch-ups as needed.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
• Follow all safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Collaborate with other production staff to meet production schedules.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors.
