Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accurately selecting and preparing products for shipment within a warehouse environment. This role involves picking orders based on customer requests or inventory needs, ensuring that items are correctly identified, retrieved, and packed for delivery.
• Retrieve products from warehouse shelves based on order tickets or picking lists (paper or electronic).
• Follow specific picking instructions (such as item codes, sizes, or quantities) to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment.
• Use handheld scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and confirm item selection.
• Ensure picked items are placed in designated bins or totes for packing or further processing.
• Prepare picked items for packing by ensuring they are properly organized and ready for shipment.
• Verify items for damage or defects and report any issues to the supervisor for resolution.
• Help pack or stage items for shipment, ensuring items are securely packaged and ready for transit.
