Job summary

TERADYNE in the Philippines is seeking qualified technicians to support PCBAs through assembly testing and repair. You will follow PCBA handling procedures, run tests, interpret logs, and troubleshoot while collaborating with engineers to improve processes and ensure quality rework.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, adherence to safety and testing protocols, and the ability to work as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Electronics Technology or Industrial Electronics graduate with relevant board repair experience.
• Knowledge of electronics board troubleshooting, de/soldering and repair.
• Experience with hardware/software validation and verification for medium/high-end testers is an advantage.
• Goal oriented, assertive and hardworking.
• Computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Follow PCBA handling procedures with 100% compliance to PCBA handling procedures; must be physically able to pick up PCBA Assemblies and place inside a system or TBUs.
• Run full test procedures of Teradyne PCBAs based on the defined procedure, including installing PCBA into test system, connecting cables, loading and running programs.
• Interpret failure data logs and apply defined troubleshooting steps to fix PCBAs; escalate to Technician/Engineer/Supervisor for undefined failures.
• Perform defined testing and troubleshooting procedures to fix PCBAs in repetitive cycles.
• Collaborate with Test Technician and Test Engineer on process/quality improvements and reliability issues.
• Perform visual inspection to ensure units have been reassembled/reworked.
