Job summary

TERADYNE is seeking an Electronics Technician to perform PCB testing and repair tasks. The role involves loading PCBA assemblies into test systems, connecting interfaces, and running automated test programs while ensuring proper data interpretation and fault resolution.

The ideal candidate has electronics training, board repair experience, and proficiency in troubleshooting. Visual inspection and collaboration with engineers support ongoing improvements in reliability and quality.

Qualifications

• Electronics Technology or Industrial Electronics graduates with relevant experience in board repair
• Knowledgeable in electronics board troubleshooting, de/soldering and repair
• Experience in hardware/software validation and verification for medium and high-end testers is an advantage
• Goal and results-oriented, assertive and hardworking
• Computer literate

Responsibilities

• Run full test procedures of Teradyne PCBAs based on the define procedure.
• Install PCBA assemblies into a test system or TBUs, connect cables and load/run automated test programs.
• Interpret failure data logs and follow defined troubleshooting steps, escalating when necessary.
• Perform repetitive defined testing and troubleshooting to fix PCBA.
• Collaborate with Test Technician and Test Engineer on process and quality improvements.
• Perform visual inspection to ensure units are reassembled/reworked.
