Job summary

A technical/vocational background in mechanical engineering technology or machine shop is preferred, with 1-2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Technical/Vocational course related to Mechanical Engineering Technology or Machine Shop.
• Preferably with 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Skilled in operating Conventional Milling/Lathe/EDM/Wirecut machines.
• Knowledgeable in metrology, blueprint reading, tolerancing, and basic shop math.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual milling and lathe machines to produce precision parts according to drawings.
• Interpret engineering blueprints and perform accurate measurements.
• Conduct self-inspections to ensure quality and adherence to specs.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep machines in good condition.
