Job summary

You will create and modify CMM inspection programs, perform first-piece and in-process inspections, and ensure calibration and proper handling of equipment. Collaboration with Engineering, Production, and Quality is essential.

Qualifications

• Operates CMM equipment for dimensional inspection of parts and components.
• Interprets engineering drawings and GD&T specifications to meet inspection requirements.
• Analyses measurement results and prepares inspection reports.

Responsibilities

• Operate CMM equipment to perform dimensional inspection of parts and components.
• Create, modify, and execute CMM inspection programs using applicable software.
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, specifications, and inspection requirements.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
• Verify critical dimensions and geometric tolerances.
• Analyze CMM measurement results and prepare inspection reports.
• Identify nonconforming parts and coordinate disposition.
• Maintain and calibrate CMM equipment.
• Ensure proper handling of measuring equipment and fixtures.
• Support troubleshooting of measurement discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams regarding measurement requirements.
• Follow safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
