Job summary

STMicroelectronics Philippines is seeking a maintenance technician to join our on-site team in Calamba. You will participate in equipment setup, conversion, machine optimization, and support for qualification of transferred and new machines.

You will contribute to improvements, repairs, and special projects, working to meet KPIs and ensure smooth production flow. A background in EE/ME/ECE with machine experience and English business proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of EE/ME/ECE or similar technical vocational equivalent.
• Minimum 1-year relevant experience in areas of Pre-assembly, Package Singulation, Die attach, Laser marking, Mold, Backetch and Plating handling machines from listed brands.
• Extensive knowledge of machine operation and set-up for the above Process.
• Knowhow of Equipment OEE and MTBI.
• Knowhow of Microsoft software tools, PLC, Power Bi and basic quality tools a plus factor.
• English business proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Equipment Set-Up and Conversion
• Machine Optimization and minor repairs supporting attainment of Maintenance KPI (OEE, NEE, MTBI, Cost)
• Support qualification for transferred and newly purchased machines
• Support machine improvement, modification and electronic board repairs
• Support special projects that will contribute to improvement of assigned area and as maybe assigned by immediate supervisor
