We are seeking a diligent Power Warehouse Associate to join our team and play a crucial role in receiving and reviewing power equipment deliveries at our warehouse. The ideal candidate will work closely with the warehouse team to ensure efficient handling and inspection of power equipment shipments and deliveries. The candidate should have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy in warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to receive and review incoming power equipment deliveries.
- Work closely with delivery personnel to ensure accurate and timely receipt of shipments.
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming power equipment, checking for quality, completeness, and compliance with specifications using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Support Power-related POCs conducted in the warehouse prior to field deployment.
- Communicate discrepancies or issues identified during inspections to relevant stakeholders for resolution.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to store and organize received power equipment properly.
- Maintain accurate records of received equipment, including shipment details and inventory updates.
- Assist in packaging, labeling, and preparing power equipment for storage or distribution.
- Optimize power spares from returned equipment, identifying usable components for inventory integration.
- Test and categorize received power equipment, such as VRLA batteries, Diesel generators, and AC Panel sets, based on their useful life for efficient utilization and maintenance planning.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures when handling power equipment.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency in warehouse operations.
- Support other warehouse activities and initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Radio or related fields is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in power management or related fields, with proven warehouse inventory management skills.
- Strong understanding of power systems and warehouse management principles.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to power systems.
- Basic computer skills, including experience with inventory management software.
