Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking a Commercial Economics and Analytics Specialist to support portfolio value creation through commercial investment analysis, asset valuation, revenue economics, forecasting, and advanced analytics.

You will work closely with the Commercial Planning and Portfolio Management Team to deliver results, create positive impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Information Technology.
Minimum of 1–3 years of cumulative experience in power project finance, corporate development, energy economics, or related fields.
Experience performing analytics, forecasting, simulation, or commercial planning tasks.
Proficiency with Python, R, SQL, VBA, or similar technologies to support analytical workflows.

Responsibilities

Support market intelligence, commercial forecasting, and financial evaluation inputs for decision making.
Coordinate between market analysis, portfolio analysis, revenue management, corporate finance, strategy and business development to align forecasts and insights.
Contribute to development of forecasting infrastructure, simulation platforms, automation initiatives, and data-driven analytics to improve forecasting accuracy and investment decisions.
