Hammerjack is seeking a Power BI Developer to design and deliver modern dashboards and reports that enable clear data-driven decisions. The role focuses on consolidating legacy reports into standardised dashboards built on trusted data models.

As part of a hybrid setup (Mak-ati zone with weekly onsite in Alphaland Corporate Tower, Makati; Pampanga options), you will migrate reports, optimise usability, and support releases while engaging stakeholders and ensuring governance of reporting

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Power BI or BI experience in a commercial setting.
• Proven dashboard development experience with visualisations.
• Strong skills in DAX, data modelling and Power Query.

We’re looking for a detail-driven Power BI Developer who can design, build, and deliver modern reporting solutions that make insights easier to access, understand, and act on. If you enjoy transforming fragmented reports into intuitive dashboards and helping teams make better decisions, this role is for you.

Work Setup: Hybrid 1x a week onsite - Alphaland Corporate Tower, Makati (to be revisited upon regularisation)

Role Overview

As our Power BI Developer, you’ll design and implement high-quality dashboards and reports that support analytics, operational reporting, and business decision-making. You’ll help shift reporting from fragmented legacy outputs into consolidated, standardised dashboard experiences built on trusted enterprise data models and approved business definitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Build Better Dashboards: Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports using approved enterprise datasets and semantic models.

• Create Clear Reporting Experiences: Deliver intuitive, user-friendly reports aligned with business needs, visual standards, and performance expectations.

• Simplify Legacy Reporting: Migrate scheduled reports into consolidated dashboards and reduce duplication across reporting assets.

• Work from Trusted Data: Consume curated Gold-layer datasets and ensure reports align with approved models, relationships, and metric definitions.

• Improve Usability and Adoption: Apply dashboard design standards, optimise layouts, and support better user engagement across reporting tools.

• Support Releases and Testing: Assist with dashboard release cycles, validation, training, and readiness activities for end users.

• Champion Governance: Contribute to reporting standards, documentation, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience

• 3+ years’ experience in Power BI or a similar reporting, analytics, or business intelligence role.

• Proven experience developing dashboards and reports in a commercial environment, with the ability to show examples of visualisations they have built.

• Strong capability in Power BI development, including DAX, data modelling, report design, and Power Query.

• Experience migrating reports from one system to another, consolidating, or rationalising reporting solutions.

• Understanding of data modelling concepts, with star schema experience preferred.

• Exposure to Microsoft Fabric or similar platforms, plus curated datasets and semantic models.

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into clear, practical visualisations.

• A high level of ownership, accountability, and commitment to reporting governance and documentation.

• Reduction in legacy scheduled reports and duplicate reporting assets.

• Adoption and usage of Power BI dashboards across the business.

Qualifications

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data, or a related field is preferred. Power BI or Microsoft certifications are highly regarded.
