Job summary

MR.DIY Philippines is seeking a diligent cashier to join our Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur team. You will handle payments, operate registers and POS terminals, and ensure accurate transactions with every customer.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree or higher, at least 1 year in a related industry, strong customer service, and good computer literacy. You should be trustworthy, detail-oriented and capable of working with minimal supervision in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or any 4-year course.
• Background in cashiering, preferably with POS experience.
• Ability to provide quality customer service.
• Trustworthy, detail-oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar industry.
• Average communication and people skills.
• Computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change.
• Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit card/debit card terminals.
• Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
• Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and providing a receipt to every customer.
• Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner.
• Maintain accurate cash drawer.
• Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
