Job summary

Citicore Renewable Energy Corporation (CREC) seeks a Pollution Control Officer (PCO) – Safety Officer 2 to oversee environmental protection and pollution control at our project site in Tuy, Batangas. You will implement regulatory-compliant programs, monitor performance, and coordinate with teams to minimize impact.

The role requires a DOLE-accredited SO2, 3–5 years in environmental management, and a COSH certification.

Qualifications

• Certified Safety Officer 2 (SO2) accredited by DOLE with 3–5 years of experience in environmental management, pollution control, or Health Safety Environment supervision.
• BOSH and OSH certificates are required.
• Willing to work in Tuy, Batangas.

• The Pollution Control Officer (PCO) - Safety Officer 2 (SO2) is responsible for implementing and monitoring environmental protection and pollution control programs at the project site or facility. The role ensures compliance with government environmental regulations, company policies, and industry standards, aiming to minimize environmental impact and promote sustainable operations. The PCO conducts regular inspections, monitors environmental performance, and provides guidance to personnel on proper environmental practices
• The PCO implements and enforces environmental policies and pollution control measures, conducts regular site inspections, and monitors air, water, and waste management practices. The role involves preparing environmental compliance reports, investigating environmental incidents, coordinating with regulatory agencies, and providing training to staff on environmental awareness and proper procedures. The PCO also ensures proper documentation of environmental activities and promotes a culture of environmental responsibility across the site.

Qualifications

• The candidate must be a Certified Safety Officer 2 (SO2) accredited by DOLE, with three (3) to five(5) years of experience in environmental management, pollution control, or Health Safety Environement supervision in construction, industrial, or project sites. Strong knowledge of environmental laws, regulations, and pollution control techniques is required, along with skills in monitoring environmental performance, conducting audits, preparing reports, and leading environmental awareness programs. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills are essential to coordinate with project teams and regulatory authorities.
• Must have BOSH and OSH certificate.
• Willing to work in Tuy, Batangas
