Job summary

First Balfour Inc is seeking an Environmental, Safety and Health Engineer to oversee ES&H in construction projects in the Philippines. The role includes coordinating environmental incident reports and ensuring compliance with government regulations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering and 3–5 years of construction ES&H experience, with preferred railway project exposure and BOSH/COSH training. On-site duties with a focus on safety.

• Implement the Company's Environmental Management System.
• Monitor and prepare reports to government agencies like DENR.
• Conduct site induction, training forum and toolbox talks on ES&H.
• Assist the team with assessment and production of environmental and safety measures, method statements and reports.

• Preferably with experience in building and railway project
• With 40 hours (BOSH) Basic Occupational Safety and Health and/or (COSH) Construction Safety Training.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for coordinating reports on environmental incidents, dangerous occurrences, injuries and accidents.
• In charge with implementation of Company's Environmental Management System
• Responsible for monitoring and preparation of reports to government agencies like DENR.
• Conduct site induction, training forum and toolbox talk, as appropriate, to provide instruction on specific Environmental, Safety and Health concerns.
• Assist the team with the assessment and production of suitable environmental and safety measures, method statements and reports to satisfy the requirements of this plan.
