Job summary

Innodata Inc. is seeking a Policy and Health Research Analyst in the Philippines to support an AI training data project. The role focuses on evaluating domain-specific URLs, drafting descriptions for scientific images, and reviewing data sources across sub-categories.

The candidate will pull samples, assess relevance and quality, and help estimate volume per sub-category while recommending Go/No-Go decisions. Licensing issues will be flagged and resolved with the License Reviewer.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, Economics or Pharmacy.
• 3+ years in policy, regulatory or health research.
• C1-level English proficiency.
• Working knowledge of Espacenet and PATENTSCOPE.
• Must have own laptop/computer and stable internet connection.
• Availability to start ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate URLs provided for their specific domain.
• Write descriptions for scientific images where applicable.
• Review data sources for assigned sub-categories and identify additional sources where coverage is limited.
• Pull and assess samples for relevance, quality, and metadata such as findings, captions, or metadata.
• Estimate available volume per sub-category, propose target splits, and recommend a Go/No-Go decision for each source.
• Flag licensing and access issues to the License Reviewer and assist in defining style guides and gold-standard examples.
