Job summary

TERADYNE is seeking a PLM Data Analyst to manage engineering data in Teamcenter, overseeing BOM configuration, ECO/ECN execution, part-number edits, and data governance to support product lifecycle from development to manufacturing.

You will ensure data integrity across PLM and ERP, generate actionable dashboards, and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and IT teams. A strong background in PLM data and cross-functional communication is essential.

Qualifications

• BS or diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related).
• Knowledge or work experience in Teamcenter, engineering documentation, BOM, or configuration control is a plus.
• Experience in ECO/ECN processes, BOM structures, and lifecycle management.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational and cross-functional communication skills.
• Experience in data management tools (Excel, Power Query, PowerBI, Power tools, SharePoint, Jira) and automation is highly appreciated.
• Exposure to manufacturing, sourcing, or compliance documentation.
• Experience in cross-functional or global engineering environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across PLM, ERP, and related systems.
• Support ECRs, ECOs, and ECNs through review, release, and implementation.

• Perform data quality reviews and resolve discrepancies.
• Develop and enforce data governance standards and lifecycle management.
• Assist with PLM enhancements, data migrations, testing, and user support.
• Create process documentation, work instructions, and training materials.
• Drive continuous improvement to PLM processes and data quality.

Opportunity Overview

The PLM Data Analyst will manage and maintain the engineering data within Teamcenter, ensuring accurate configuration, documentation, and change control for mobile industrial robot products. This role focuses on BOM configuration, engineering change order (ECO/ECN) execution, part number creation and modification, and technical data requirements review to meet engineering, manufacturing, and compliance needs across the product lifecycle.

• Manage and maintain product master data, part numbers, BOMs, product structures, and engineering documentation within the PLM system.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across PLM, ERP, and related business systems.
• Support Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) through the review, release, and implementation process.
• Analyze product and engineering data to generate reports, dashboards, and metrics that support business decisions.
• Conduct data quality reviews and resolve discrepancies to maintain high-quality product information.
• Develop and enforce data governance standards, naming conventions, and lifecycle management processes.
• Assist with PLM system enhancements, data migrations, testing, and user support.
• Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and user training materials.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance PLM processes, data quality, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and IT teams to support master data management for current/new product development and operational activities
